RYA Personal Watercraft Course

Age restrictions - Min age 12 years. Under 16's will be issued an endorsed certificate
Course length - 1 day
Certification - RYA personal watercraft certificate of competence
Previous Experience - None required
Ability after the course - Self-sufficient in good conditions. Aware of limitations of self and vessel

Control at slow speed
Falling off and reboarding
Capsize and righting
Control at speed
Following a planned route
Identifying buoys and marks
Recognising potential collision situations and taking correct avoiding action
Slalom exercise
Towing a PWC

RYA PWC Instructor Conversion Course

Duration - 1 day
Pre-requisites - RYA PWC certificate of competence, RYA powerboat instructor, RYA powerboat level 2, RYA VHF, RYA First Aid.

Minimum of one full season or two seasons part time PWC riding experience.

Pre-requisites - RYA PWC certificate of competence, RYA First Aid.
